Day 1: Aqaba Border – Wadi Rum
Meet and assist formalities at Aqaba Airport or Border crossing and we proceed to Wadi Rum. We will explore the land of Lawrence of Arabia; you shall pass the famous seven pillars of wisdom, and explore Wadi Rum by jeep for two hours, escorted by a Bedouin guide. Visit Lawrence Springs, Al khazaali canyon and the inscriptions made by the Thamudic and Nabatean people centuries ago, and climb one of the sand dunes. You will have a very nice dinner overnight stay in camp.
Day 2: Wadi Rum - Petra
Early rise as we transfer to Petra to start a guided tour and visit the many sites of Petra, the city carved into the rose-red Mountains by the Nabateans and lost to Civilization until re-discovered by the Swiss Burkhardt. Walk through the Siq, a narrow and winding fissure between the cliffs, to reach the Treasury, the Nabatean Roman Theatre, the royal tombs, the Roman Road, the great temple, the temple of the Winged Lion and the basin, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Petra – Aqaba border/airport
Breakfast in the hotel, transfer to Aqaba Airport of borders and assistance with departure formalities.
