Job Description: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Reservations Officer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for efficiently managing all aspects of booking and reservations for our inbound travel clients. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of the travel industry and be dedicated to providing high-quality service.
Responsibilities:
- Booking and Reservations Management: Efficiently handle all reservation requests, adjustments, and cancellations. Manage bookings through our reservation system, ensuring all client requirements are met accurately.
- Client Interaction: Act as the primary contact for clients regarding all reservation-related inquiries. Provide timely and informative responses to enhance client satisfaction.
- Supplier Coordination: Work closely with hotels, tour operators, and other service providers to secure necessary services as per client itineraries. Negotiate rates and confirm availability, ensuring cost-effective and seamless arrangements.
- Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all reservations and transactions. Manage reservation documents and correspondence with both clients and suppliers effectively.
- Problem Resolution: Quickly address and resolve any booking-related issues. Collaborate with other departments to ensure any client concerns are managed promptly and efficiently.
- Product Knowledge and Updates: Keep informed about new and existing travel products, services, and promotions offered by Zaman Tours. Advise clients on various options that best fit their travel preferences and needs.
- Payment Processing: Oversee the processing of payments for bookings, ensuring all transactions are completed accurately and on time.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Reservations Officer, Travel Agent, or similar role in the travel industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and suppliers.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in travel and booking systems.
- Keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
