Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Reservations Officer to join our team. As a Reservations Officer at Zaman Tours, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with their travel plans, ensuring accuracy in reservations, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle incoming reservations inquiries via phone, email, or in-person.
Assist clients in selecting the best travel options, including accommodations, and tour packages.
Make and confirm travel reservations for clients, taking into consideration their preferences and budget.
Perform a thorough review of in-house and arriving clients to confirm and maintain precise reservations
Dispatch service confirmation to clients promptly and ensure timely delivery.
Provide accurate information about travel destinations, itineraries, and visa requirements.
Coordinate with hotels, restaurants, tour guides, transportation companies, and other travel service providers to secure bookings.
Resolve booking issues and handle changes or cancellations as necessary.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel regulations and industry trends.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships by delivering excellent service.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth travel experiences for clients.
Assist with administrative tasks related to reservations and customer service.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in tourism, hospitality, or a related field is a plus.
Proven experience as a reservations officer, travel agent, or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of travel booking systems and reservation software.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in using computer systems and relevant software.
Enthusiasm for travel and a passion for helping clients create memorable journeys.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
